Susan Lockwood – Voice Coaching for Business and Public Speakers in Sudbury
Susan Lockwood is a passionate and experienced vocal coach with over 25 years of experience in teaching voice. She has undergone extensive training from renowned experts, including Patsy Rodenberg, Christina Shewell, Cecily Berry, and Trish Arnold; Susan has skillfully integrated this knowledge into her practice. She offers voice training and coaching to actors, speakers, and business professionals from her studio located on the Suffolk/Essex border.
Originally trained as an actor, Susan was inspired to learn more about the voice during her journey as she had been told to “change her accent” to secure acting work.
This experience led her on a client-centred journey of discovery, inspiring her to research the “Authentic Voice” for her MA in Voice Pedagogy from the University of Wales Trinity St David's. Additionally, Susan began teaching voice courses for the Richmond College Business department before later becoming a tutor for the Voice Care Network.
Susan has created her syllabus for a foundation course in Suffolk, where she is also a LAMDA examiner. Susan’s private studio in Sudbury is open to everyone who wishes to explore their spoken voice and find their own authentic sound.
